COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Students will learn basic computer skills that can be used immediately, throughout college, and beyond.  Emphasis is on learning basic MS Office applications of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

 Assignments

There will be assignments due for most class meetings.  These assignments are due no later than the starting time of your class.  Work must be submitted on hard copy in classes (before class begins). Work submitted late will receive a maximum of one-half credit, if it is received before the exam over that topic.

 Bonus Assignments

I will on occasion, give bonus assignments.  These assignments will not count against your grade and are completely voluntary.

 Class Participation

Class participation (50 points possible) consists of your class attendance, logging on and off your computer as requested, working only on course-related matter during class, and asking and/or answering questions.
